Introducing the 2026 Forthing Xinghai V9, the flagship plug-in hybrid MPV from Dongfeng Forthing’s premium Xinghai lineup. At the heart of the V9 is a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine working alongside a 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor producing 310 Nm of torque. On the outside, the V9 presents a commanding executive face with a wide chrome-accented grille, full-width LED tail lamp bar, roof spoiler and a large, practical tailgate for easy loading. It rides on 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels shod with 225/55 R18 tyres, and comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, traction and stability control, tyre pressure monitoring and reversing camera assistance.

The plug-in hybrid layout means daily commutes can be completed on electricity alone, while long journeys use the engine as a range extender — offering the best of both worlds.
