Introducing the 2025 Li Auto L9, the flagship full-size extended-range electric SUV from China’s premium smart-EV maker Li Auto. Designed around a family-first 2+2+2 six-seat layout, the L9 combines true luxury-cabin amenities with an ingenious EREV powertrain that ends range anxiety once and for all: the wheels are always driven by electricity, while a 1.5L turbo range extender quietly tops up the battery on the move.

Performance is effortless. Dual electric motors (130 kW front, 200 kW rear) deliver a combined 449 hp (330 kW) and 620 Nm of torque, launching the L9 from 0-100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/h. The 52.3 kWh CATL ternary-lithium battery provides around 280 km of pure electric range under CLTC, while a 65-litre fuel tank extends total range to a remarkable 1,100-1,400 km — charge at home for the daily commute, and simply refuel for long road trips.

The cabin is where the L9 truly shines. A 15.7-inch OLED central screen and a matching 15.7-inch passenger display dominate the minimalist dashboard, joined by a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen for second-row passengers. All six seats are wrapped in Nappa leather with heating, ventilation and massage functions, second-row captain’s chairs offer power footrests and a fridge cooler/warmer sits between the front seats. The 21-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, tri-zone automatic air conditioning, panoramic sunroof, dual 50W wireless charging pads and 3.5 kW V2L vehicle-to-load output turn the L9 into a mobile living room.

Underneath, dual-chamber air suspension with CDC adaptive damping delivers a Magic Carpet ride, while Li AD Max driver assistance — powered by LiDAR, 12 cameras and 5 radars — provides highway and urban NOA, auto parking and comprehensive AEB. C-NCAP 5-star rated with 12 airbags and redundant powertrain, steering and braking systems, the L9 also earned top ‘GGG’ ratings in C-IASI safety testing.

Finished in White Pearl with 21-inch alloys and the signature Star Ring LED light bar, the L9 measures 5,218 x 1,998 x 1,800 mm on a 3,105 mm wheelbase. It offers benchmark space, technology and comfort at a fraction of comparable European luxury SUV prices — the definitive premium family SUV.
