The 2025 Wuling Yangguang is a pure-electric passenger van designed for high-capacity urban and intercity transport, seating up to 14 passengers in a practical, zero-emission package. Built by SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) — the joint venture behind China’s best-selling micro vans — the Yangguang combines tried-and-tested commercial DNA with modern EV technology.

Measuring 4,985 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,975 mm tall on a generous 3,050 mm wheelbase, the Yangguang offers a spacious cabin with flexible seating configurations. The rear sliding door provides easy ingress for passengers in tight parking spaces, while the robust body-on-frame construction handles daily commercial duties with ease.

Under the floor, the Yangguang uses a Gotion or CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack available in 41.9 kWh and 56.2 kWh variants, delivering a CLTC-rated range of up to 340–400 km depending on battery choice. The electric rear-wheel-drive motor produces 60–100 kW (81–136 hp) with 180–220 Nm of torque, more than adequate for urban passenger duties, and is paired with a single-speed automatic transmission. Charging is convenient with fast-charge capability: an 80% top-up takes approximately 30 minutes via DC fast charging, while a full charge on a 7 kW AC home charger requires overnight. The liquid-cooled thermal management system maintains optimal battery health across seasons.
